I've watched a ton of videos on how to play individual songs. Axe of Creation is great. But if you want to learn some techniques to come up with your own riffs this video helped a lot when it comes to understanding the tools (no pun intended...well maybe) Adam Jones employs.

Want to learn to play Sober, you won't from this video. Want to learn that the shape you used in Sober is an extended Drop D Power chord and how you can use it all over the fret board like any other power chord, this video is for you.

After watching this video early in my guitar journey, I spent weeks just using these techniques to explore the fret board and make my own music (well at least it sounded like music to me).
