BE-100 Deluxe Channel/System Volume

Just picked up a BE-100 Deluxe. I’ve had a BE-100, SS-100, and a JJ-100 and I’m familiar with gain staging master with channels on those. The BE-100 Deluxe seems a little different, like it really likes gain channels up to 6-8 and the system above 5.

Just looking for some feedback from guys who have played/gigged with one of these. It sounds great, just wanting to get some ideas on how you guys set up your volumes.

I’ve run mine both ways with channels up and system down and vise versa and it sounds slightly different but not enough to say one way is better.

I keep my system volume between 6 and 8
