Noob question can I run an amp into an interface to a cab sim then to a power amp into an fr speaker cab say a spider 4 12 and get desired results

Its possible if your amp has a line out. Refer to your amp manufactures manual for this.
A better option would be getting a reactive load, like a Suhr or Freytte IR loader.
You can split to the signal to go to your interface and cab.
