ENGL Ironball, anyone played it @ the NAMM??

Hey guys, did anyone play the new ENGL Ironball @ the Namm??
I want you to share your impressions and if possible describe its gain structure.
Does its sound remind you of another ENGL amp??

Hey Man!

I didn't play it, but I heard a few people demo it.
I used to have a Powerball, and it sounded vaguely reminscent of that to me. The clean was crystal clear as ENGL's usually are.
It has alot of great features for gigging as all ENGL's do too.

If that tone works for you... it seems like a great amp. A bit overpriced IMO tho.

I tried one out and fucking loved it, it is an amazing metal amp head with so much quality - but quickly backed away when I found out the price.

I went for the axe fx ultra instead and did not regret my decision.

Sounded great in the demo, and the guy playing did it right. It's got the features I want. I need to play one locally to make sure, but it might be the first amp I step up and pay retail for.

Cool little lunchbox, doesn't give you the beefy low end chunk of the big bottles though. Just my two cents. Pretty versatile
