GB/V30 Combo in a 4x12 - X Pattern?

Before I spend the time to try it, anyone had success with GB’s/V30’s in an x pattern?

It’s a pretty tried and true combo. Some people think the v30s overpower the GBs so they put the v30s on the bottom and GBs on top, but I prefer the X pattern myself

Cool. I always see them setup with GB’s on top. That’s how I’ve got a cab configured right now, but I want to hear a little more of the v30…so thinking about x pattern

Had that config in a few cabs, wasn’t a huge fan—GBs get overwhelmed IMO. I like GB top V30 bottom better, esp in a slant cab. G12H30 top V30 bottom if ur more into KERRANG than thump/brootz
