Since I retubed my Herbert I get this weird distorted hum on the clean channel. It occurs sometimes but at high volumes it scares the shit out of me when I switch to channel 1. :P
I'm guessing it has something to do with faulty (power) tubes but I want a conformation from you guys before ordering new tubes.
The Pre's are JJ ECC803S HIGH GAIN and the Power ones are SED Winged C KT88's.

Thanks in advance for your input! :)

Try swapping around your preamp tubes. one could be bad.

Just a suggestion....change the V1 from an 803 to an ECC83S, if you are partial to JJ's. The 803 is a lower gain 12AX7 and probably not the best choice for V1 in a Herbert. The Herbie service is probably maxing out the tube. The 803 is fine for vintage amps, but shouldn't be used for higher gain monsters, fire breathing dragons and Armageddon in a box!

Thanks guys! I'll try it when I get to my rehearsel room.

Guys, problem solved. I replaced the V1 pre-tube with one that came with the Herbert.
Once again, thanks allot!
