This is my Franken-Strat. Originally a Fender MIM Hendrix Strat. I had the Fishman Fluence loaded pickguard in the guitar for years. They were cool I guess. They were good enough. From taking the back-plate on/off to adjust the claw, one of the wires snapped. Dead guitar. I don't solder and even if I did there was no clear spot to solder the wired back.
So I got the EMG DG20. Goes right in. No soldering. The sound really good! and quiet. A few guys on YT said to lower the PU's to get more Stratty tones, so that's what I did.
It's got a Callaham Bridge, Graph Tech TUSK nut, Hipshot Locking Tuners. I'm waiting on some Wilkinson Locking Bridge Saddles.
