Power tubes question

Hi all,
I have a Marshall DSL that I want to retube and I have been told that the amp needs power tubes that bias warm to be able to bias it in the proper range (80ma +/- 5).

Does anyone know what plate current and transconductance I need for a quad of EL34s? The online tube vendor I’m getting them from needs that to fill the order.

Any matched quad will work. If you need to run the tubes hotter than the trim pot will allow you can always swap the bias resistor.

Thanks for your reply. I am hoping to retube the amp without swapping the bias resistor. The set I currently have are marked 41 and 5.9 TC and they only go up to 72ma, which is why I’m trying to find out what numbers I need to get in the correct bias range.

Edit: found the answer. I need tubes with a lower plate current than 41 to get the amp to bias warmer.
