reverend vs. G&L

Personally I'd go with the G & L. I'm not usually a strat guy (although I do own a couple of MIA strats).

Within the last month I've bought two G & L Legacy's. They're quality and sound are second to none. Plus, they're handmade in America and you can pick them up fairly cheap on eBay.

Can't go wrong with either. G&L guitars are highly regarded as are Reverends. Reverend follows the Schecter profile.....guitars built overseas and then dressed/set up in the states. You even get a trial period similar to Carvin. The resale sucks for both companies, though, so do your homework for the features you want. FWIW, I have two G&Ls and they've made the cut past some PRS, Wolfgangs, Ibanez, and a Les Paul that I've owned.
