I am a new member registered here and my name is Virgil..I play guitar and I am the owner of an Egnater M4
preamp loaded with Twin,Sl,Eg 3/4 and MHG modules....
My rig is :
Mesa 2:90
Tc electronic G-force
ISP Pro Decimator
Line 6 Pod xt pro(for some clean and compressed sounds)
Egnater M4
Sehnheiser wireless guitar sys.
GCX Audio
GCX Ground Controller Pro
Rane 26 B mixer
...well now, my question for you is:
Does anyone try to change the tubes in Egnater M4 modules ?(my modules are all equipped with 12AX7 WA Sovtek russian tubes..)
I changed in the Sl module the tubes ..going from 12 AX7 WA to JJ ECC 83 S...wich in IMO the sound of Sl module is more powerful and has more crunch..
Does anyone of you had this experience???
If so please tell me more about it..
