I got perma'd from TGP 2 years ago, was bant about a year and emailed Brian, explained my side of the situation.
He let me come back.
They can tend to overmod a bit, the flipside is a forum that plays favorites or runs rampant.
The thing i learned over there is know your audience.

I once had a direct quote from a member in my signature over there, non edited. Just a direct quote from one of his posts. It made him look bad so he had a mod remove it from my signature. :lol: :LOL:

I learned the know your audience too. There are things I will post on here that I would never post over at TGP and vise versa. I am much more cautious about what I say on TGP.

No, just a guy who had a Two Rock and was saying it was more important than his wife/family (implied) lol.

Somebody quoted me in their sig over there. The quote was "Welcome to The Gear Page, Where everything sucks". It didnt last too long. I wonder if a mod asked the guy to remove it...
 
I got banned but talked the mods into just banning me from the second most butthurt forum on the internet, the little fractal TGP digital modeling forum. So I can't post in there.

And what'd it fix? Nothing. It's still the second most butthurt forum on the internet with constant drama.
