Dave (and Mark)

Does that RJM line mixer have midi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ??????????????????

Dave that's a great looking board! Nice work!

Hope Pete does a video showcasing this board. I'd like to hear the tones he can get with it!

I want this, and that Carl Marin plexi drive looks cool.

Sent the board off this morning for my 1st gigs with it- next weekend in MN and MI- but before I had to ship it off, I wanted to make a cover to protect the bottom- my stuff breaks a lot it seems, so I don't want to take chances. Al those jacks, the power supplies, the RJM, etc... I went to the hardware store and got some plexiglass, and some L brackets- I cut the plexi to size using a scoring knife, and drilled 2 holes for the feet to go through on the top edge of the plexi. I secured the bottom part of the plexi by using the L brackets- for now, i just bent them and dual locked them to the underside of the board, then I put dual lock on the plexi and the other side of the L bracket. Seems to work fine! I can always drill holes to secure the brackets to the board and/or the plexi via screws, but this seems like a good quick solution  :

What a great idea with the plexiglass Pete.. I always wondered why people never protect their TT boards underside.

Very cool! No chorus?

I'm using some modulation in the M9- the Dimension on one thing, and the analog chorus on another. Not a big chorus guy- I do like modulated delay though.

Too cool. The CM comp is on my want list. EVH Pedal lover too Pete? lol I have the EVH 90 and I believe it replaces most of my pedals
with just its mojo. I know you are a boutique amps lover too. What amp are you using these next two shows?
I got to see you jam with Peter Frampton a few years ago in Nashville. Great show! You are a lucky man!

The CM Compressor is KILLER. That Frampton gig was a blast! He was cool. What'd we do, I think Black Hole Sun and Whole Lotta LOve? Or it was Slaves And Bulldozers into Whole Lotta Love I think..?

Using the pT100 this weekend.... 1st gigs with this board- wish me luck!

Dave, I am currently building my own board and was wondering what jacks you like to use (in this pic, mounted to the chassis) including the midi and power plug jack?

Also, are these just small bodied neutrik connectors going into the Musicom?

I am sure it was Black Hole into Whole Lotta. You did play Slaves that night too though.
There was a very cute red head in front of me that had Slaves and Bulldozers on the front
of her shirt. Said it was her fav and she went nuts when you guys played it. You and Chris
put on a heck of a show. At some point you looked at him and just ripped as many strings off
of your black Paul as you could. Then he used his mic as a slide on it. hahaha I didnt know
what to think. It was crazy! Good luck with the new board. DF does great work!

Very cool Dave and Peter!

I love the plexiglass too!!!

Hey Peter, are you still using the tc and fractal stuff as well?

Are you touring solo now? If not who are you touring with? Missed the Melissa Ethridge show when you came to the Gulf coast last year.

I think the jacks are probably the old style cliff jack and the short body connectors are switchcraft 380, the midi connector is a Neutrik NYS326 for 7 pin NYS325 for 5 pin.
Hope this helps!

When it's leaned up against the amps put things in to perspective. I wasn't picturing it that big. Nice and clean work Dave.
