Different effects loop BE100 V1 and V2?

How come the new Be100 has a different loop than the older version? My v2 has a tube driven loop. I thought the old loop was the creme-de-la-creme of loops. Was there actually room for improvment?
Is a buffer in the loop (before a true bypass boost and a G-Force) overkill now?

Both loops are good. I had to do a redesign on the old one and now it's back. I had to use the tube loop in the meantime or no one would have any amps.

What if any are the concerns of a tube buffered loop?
