..::video::.. Friedman Dirty Shirley Mini Sample

Hey, guys!

Just recorded this sample using this amazing little amp...
Really love Friedman amps!

Used a Gibson Traditional 1960 and an isocab with 2 mics inside (SM57 & AKG P170).
PS: I changed the knobs for these Jubilee style LOL!

I saw this on youtube a while back. Sounds awesome. Curious to hear your thoughts vs the Smallbox. Do they overlap too much or can you justify owning both?

Smallbox sounds much more tight. I like that. And the Dirty Shirley Mini (as the 40W version) sounds more vintage, with that loose low end, you know? I love both but if I would choose one, would be the Smallbox.

But I got the Dirty Shirley Mini to use a smaller rig in some small gigs, with just a 1x12". Can't use that big smallbox and that 2x12" in every place. That's why I got a smaller amp. I was considering the PT as well, but preferred the Dirty Shirley Mini for a variety of tone.
