BE 30

Got a Synergy 30 head Monday. Basic clean channel and one slot for a module, 2 6L6s. The BE module sounds wonderful! 2 channels with shared eq, separate gain and volume. Still dialing in, but DAMN! This platform is killer. Takes me back to when I was moved by the smallbox. I'll be playing more and digging on this module. Also have the VH4 module. Dave's plexi is on the way.
 
How much gain do you get out of the BE module with the syn 30 amp?
 
I have one channel set at noon, the other at about 2 o'clock, and I'm getting all the gain I need. It's similar to what I remember getting from the smallbox. I have a buxom boost, but haven't tried it yet.
 
? not sure what bands you're asking about. It's similar in gain to an Egnater SLx, maybe a touch less?
 
I think it would do that, should have as much or more gain than they used. Or go HBE.
 
Thinking about getting the Syn 30 head with the BB/BE module when it comes out.
 
That seems redundant, the amp's clean is good. What would be cool is a BE/HBE module!

I have to admit, I always wondered why this wasn’t one of the modules they offered.
