Custom order DS40H questions

I want to order a DS40 Head from Friedman/Boutique with exterior appearance changes. I’m sure they could accommodate this (hopefully), but while I’m ordering this should I ask for the gain reduction mod or is that already addressed with the new 3 way switch variants after 2016? I do want to have very clean cleans.

Also how does one go about contacting the right person at Friedman to get the order started? I don’t want to bother Dave with an order matter.
