...what is this model?
That's a Mackie Onyx 1640 w/Firwire Card. The original version, not the newer i1640. Works very well. I currently run the TL S/PDIF into the 11R and the TL LINE OUT into the mixer then into the 11R LINE IN L, giving me two TL tracks. Plugging into the 11R and going out the front OUTPUT TO AMP 1 into the Mark V thru the TL gives me more options. If I ran the 11R's loop into the Mark V there would be even more options. I haven't done this (yet), but love the connectivity option. Several times I've attempted to sell the 1640 and the thought crosses my mind every now and then, but then I come to my senses. It's a great mixer and interface option.

My wife took the camera to Europe Guillaume, so I'll get some pics when she gets back LOL!

Hi Guillaume...

No, I'm afraid not. She was actually just outside of London for her sister's birthday party and a two week holiday through out the southern UK (her sister lives outside of London). They didn't make it over to the continent this time.

Here is the promised pic of the mighty Torpedo CAB hard at work processing a vintage Kittyhawk Quattro tube preamp.

NOTE: No, the 4 X 12 Peavey cab is NOT mic'd in the control room!

The 4 X 12 is merely holding up the guitar rack which is going DI'd via the Torpedo CAB for tube power amp and speaker/cab/mic sims, Axe FX Ultra for room sim and noise gate, then through UA and Focusrite preamps and Apogee converters to Pro Tools.

Merci for the great sounding products!

Redone. PedalPro added. Might change this to an amp instead of the X99 - not sure yet.

Dave, tell me about that Pedalpro please. Would you say it's the end all and no more pedal board needed at all? Does it bug you that there is no reverb, no pitch shift and no fuzz in the unit?

Be all, end all to replace a pedal board - no. I mean it never could be. If it had a Klon in it someone would prefer a Timmy instead. But how different is that from liking a 2290 for delays, Lexicon for verb, and Eventide for shifting? Are the verbs in the Eventide great? Of course. But someone will always bitch that it's not as good as Lexicon   The fx in the PP are super high quality, but there will always be somebody that has to have their favorite pedal over all else. That's why...

it has the 2 loops. I don't use Fuzz, but if I wanted I would add it in the 1st loop - so no problem. Same with Pitch Shift and Reverb. I have a WET reverb in the back of that rack in the 2nd loop (there is a complete mixer in the PedalPro for that loop). But I don't use much of those 2 fx either. I thought about getting an Eventide Eclipse for the 2nd loop, or use the PCM 70 I have, but I just don't use them enough at this time to justify adding them in.

I really like the way and volume expression functions in the PP. I have messed with other functions with the expression pedal. I'd say it is more than worth trying it. He has a 30 day return policy. It really is a great unit. I have $3k plus in pedals for a pedal/rack I was going to build, which I just never did. Not sure that I ever will at this point either.

I think it will be the hub of my rigs for quite a while, especially since it can be integrated into almost any rig.

Thanks. The website is kind of confusing. When you order it with the Footswitch, will it still have the Midi in to be able to remote control via Midi?

I got an email last week that the MIDI update would be finished soon. I have no idea if that will negate the ADES of the Pedalino. If it does there would be reason to even get the Pedalino if you planned on using MIDI. So, I'm guessing using either or is how it will work. I am getting use to the Pedalino and it works well. Probably one or two things I would change and I would be happy. Problem is unless the rest of the industry starts using ADES then it becomes very proprietary which is never good for the eclectic rig building we do :)

Hey Shark Diver--I've got the PedalPro and Torpedo Live also. What a fun rig!

That is great. Glad to hear someone else using the PP. Best 2 purchases I've made in years. Added my amp back in my rig - need a new pic.
