I'm having some issues with my Blue Angel. I try to run another preamp into the FX return and it sounds extremely muffled and then howls really loud, randomly, and doesn't stop until I turn the head off.
I'm running the head with a Weber Mini Mass attenuator as the load, with the slave out going into a power amp; it sounds great when going into the Blue Angel, no issues. I'm only having issues with trying to run a preamp into the return.
Any ideas? If the FX driver tube is bad would that cause this?
