He shouldn't be there, he didn't even play the whole year. Bulger actually deserved it. He led the NFL with 8 games where his passer rating was over 100, he had the least INT's for any starting QB in the NFL, only 8. He had a 3-1 TD-INT ratio, 24-8. 4300 passing yards, 93 rating, 63% completion percentage, 8 300 yard passing games, etc. 8)

Damn their D sucks. All that offense and 8-8....Too bad they have to face The Inconvenant Truth-Frank Gore. twice a year. They're gonna need help. :hilfe:

Do you like Coughlin? I just figured you hated him like most Giant fans. You think they're gonna be any good without Tiki next year? I mean, at least they still have the mighty P. Burress.

It doesn't matter who they get, if Eli doesn't improve they won't get any better. Coughlin doesn't bother me, and when most Giants who want him gone are sked who the want to replace him, they have no idea.

And P. Burress is awesome, he is a fucking asshole crybaby, but nobody can cover him. That's even more of an indication of how bad Eli is. He never has to be accurate to Burress. He just throws it up for grabs and Burress is 6ft 5in so he outjumps anyone covering him.

With the Giants, the inmates are running the asylum. Guys like Strahan and Shockey call their own shots. Freaking Shockey and Burress don't even work out with Eli before the season. Coughlin needs to take more control over the team.

And Bulger and Romo getting in the probowl are another indication of how bad the NFC is. Although before he got hurt, McNabb was having a great year.

Are you saying Bulger isn't an elite NFL QB? Because if you are, you're VERY wrong.

Elite, he's not. He's pretty good but he doesn't belong in the same sentence as Payton, Brady, Brees, Palmer, McNabb when he's healthy, McNair. I think you're putting too much into Bulgers numbers. Look at the top 3 QB's this year for yards, it's no suprise that they all play in Domes. Take Bulger out of the dome and his numbers go down. Bulger had 24TD's this year, but so did Eli! Bulger didn't have many pics which was good.

I think he's good but not great.

I grew up with.......

Roger Dodger
Elway
Montana
Marino in his prime
Bradshaw
Jim Kelly
Phil Sims
Dan Fouts
Broadway Joe

No.......Bulger is not an elite quarterback and as a matter of fact the NFL today freaking blows imo.

Brady is the only guy I consider a true gunslinger today.

Bulger has a higher career passer rating than Brady, McNabb, McNair, Brees, and Eli (who isn't anywhere close at 73) Palmer has a higher career rating by 0.2 and Peyton's is higher by 3.0 points. Numbers don't lie.

I wasn't talking about all time greats, I was talking about the present.

Right and other than Brady there are no all time greats around. Warner came close but his star flamed out way too early.

The point I was making had nothing to do with all time great NFL QB's, I was talking about current NFL QB's.

I know what you are getting at, that "all time list" were the guys around back then between the late 70s through the early 90s.

I find it funny that Bulger would deem an "elite" title or any other qb of today other than Brady.

Your silly if you're comparing any numbers that Bulger has to Peyton. I'm not a Peyton fan but his numbers are going to blow away everyones when he's done.

And Bulger has only played 60 games while Peyton has played 144 and Peyton still has a higher QB rating.

I'll say this about the Rams, their defense probably cost them at least 2 games this year, it's almost as bad as the Giants D. But look at the injuries the Giants did have. If the Rams don't play some D Bulger won't win anything. And they will always have a good offense playing in the dome.

I give Brees a lot of credit because he was good in San Diego, and the Saints have been such a crap team since, forever. He seemed to really turn them around.

You don't have to win a Super Bowl to be an elite QB. Marino and Manning have proved that. You can talk all the shit you want about Bulger, but the guy is damn good, and one of the best in the NFL today.

Manning can rack up all the numbers he wants, he could not carry Montana's jock strap.

Big game + Manning = choke

Win the Superbowl, for what it is worth today which is not much, and you live forever.

Second place your name is in the women's room.

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeet, Doug Williams...Superbowl Champ.

Doug Williams, Trent Dilfer, and Ben Roethlisberger have Super Bowl rings. None of those guys are in the same league as Manning and Marino, it doesn't matter that they won Super Bowls.
