Thanks! the MXR is a clean booster. I use it to kick my distortion. reason being is because the Duncan distortion I have in my Lespaul has cover on it, so it doesnt allow the coils to get close same as without covers would.

2 Bs-2 buffers overkill? never..

reason i use 2 actully is because the cable from my guitar to pedalboard is 20' and ofcourse that will have a bit of tone loss. I actully noticed a difference when I put the BS-2 at the start of the pedal board. I felt the tone got some of everything back (lows, mids, highs).

the cable from my pedalboard to rack is 25'. So I use the BS-2 buffer to give the signal a kick so it could run that length without loss.

hahaha.. hey man.. the chase after tone is never ending I guess. Always changing something to find that tone.
