lets see ive got a Peavey RockMaster
a Digitech 2101 which i love
couldnt afford a decent power amp yet so i got a Crate SPA 300
till i get a tube one

as for effects i have Digitech S 100
that i use for the Rockmaster
an ART SGX ( junk )

a Furman Power Conditioner
a Korg DT-2 tuner

id like to know what you would chose for a patch bay ?
im looking at a Whirlwind ADC Unit

oh man.. that I couldnt tell you. I've never really used a patchbay.

What use do you have for a patchbay?

Dont use a patchbay, unless it's for studio work switching preamps, they WILL add noise though....


a Patchbay would be pretty useless for live work, unless you want to be switching out cable between songs....
 
well i asked a person who has one in his rig
what it was since im not overly knowledgeable about them
i fugured he knew what he was talking about

i never really got any information about how to use it or anything for that matter
just that i can change ALGORHYTHMS FASTER

in fact hes got less peices them me
and i use a A/B BOX or Line switching pedal

im quite happy i dident jump up and order one

not much more then ive already done
i just couldnt figure out why he wanted me to get a patchbay ?

ive pretty much covered my base's
except for the tube poweramp

and 2 PENTA 4x12 cabs :)
and a 52 reissue tele :o
