I hope this one is under $2k because I really, really want one.

Lol the Deliverance is $2k. May as well go with no way in hell.

You know, I love VHT, but every amp I've played of theirs is too tight to do what I like (thick, saturated chunk) because it's tighter than a extra small thong on a 600 pound man... but jesus christ, that amp is so unbeleivably sweet looking and LOTS of knobs and switches, plus I really dig the Gain I/II thing they got going. And this Sig has a switch for mroe sag, this just might be the sweetest fucking amp that I want... The only thing that could not make me want it is if Mako is done with hybriding their C-100s.

The Deliverances are not too tight and are very thick.

I am dying from GAS pains.

I get the feeling the price is gonna sober me right up...

Just delete this thread already.

that clean is gonna have to be pretty good to sound better than the diezel herbert and einstien clean

All the VHT amps already have that covered...
And from what everyone is saying, it's an amazing clean on this amp.

Whats the deal on these new VHT speakers? Spill the beans :o

I played one multiple times and a few of those times were 30+ minutes. I guess I can agree it wasn't TOO tight, but it wasn't very thick. Perhaps it just needs a boost in front of it for what I would want out of it. But this Sig X__ looks 10x better.

They are damn thick sounding....almost too much depending on how you have the Depth and bass dialed in.
This is non boosted Deliverance....Please don't mind my shit ass playing and crappy recording, but, It's pretty thick...

Looks very flexible. All those mini toggles remind me of Mesa's a litte bit :D

It seems like he wants to give you the ability to make the amp more saggy and not traditional "VHT-ish".

Very interesting :)
The CL series has rectifier switch. The D120 is almost 2 grand and the D60 is 1500.00 This amp will cost at least 3 grand with all those options. Looks nice. I would get this before a JVM.

Nope. Talked to my dealer today about them, and they are priced VERY reasonably for everything they do. Totally.

How does it compare sound-wise to the Deliverance?

From what a few have told me...You can get D sounds, UL sounds, the best cleans ever on a VHT and a whole new group of sounds.

I will believe that when I see it. The UL is over 3 grand and had way less features than this. Kudos if they can keep this under 2500. On another note I traded my Ace combo for Kurt's Brunetti Pirata with tube mix....It can't compare to my CL50 for metal tones. Not even close. Nice for rock, though

We shall see about those cleans being better than the Einstein...I have not heard any clean tone as warm and as versatile as those and that's with el-34s. I am positive the Einy will kick ANY Fender's arse with 6l6 in it. KT 88s are superclean ,though.
