Bears, because they really aren't good enough to be there.
Colts, because I want to see Peyton cry like a baby.
The game in a nutshell:
All will be determined within the first 15 minutes. It'll either be a blowout, or a punt-fest. Might as well turn it to Animal Planet and commit suicide while watching puppy bowl...
Prediction:
Colts 41, Bears 3
Backup prediction:
Colts 6, Bears 9 w/ last minute field goal

Both kickers are very good. But I'll take Vinatieri, shit he was the guy who won the Pats that first Superbowl. That kick in the snow against the Raiders was incredible. Pats got a GIFT call to win that game as we all know.
Agh, i was on another message board talking about the game and fans from BOTH sides are just unrealistic. OK OK, so i rained on the Bears parade last week and I'll admit that as a team, you can only play the games they have for you on the schedule and who cares how you win, just win. But did you know that the Bears only beat 2 teams with a winning record in the regular season.
But i still like to look at the stats and how well the team played and how well the opposition is/was. And the best team doesn't always win, it's just a game and anything can happen.
And i don't care what anyone says, the best in the NFL is sitting home right now and that's the Chargers. I'm not a fan of them but IMHO they would have bitch slapped the Colts if they didn't make 100,000 mistakes against the Pats. And i guess that makes an even bigger case for the Bears. The most talented team can play like crap on any given day.
One thing also, the Colts let up a record amount of return yards against the Pats, if they don't find a way to contain Hester they are asking for trouble. I just hope it's a good game and i PRAY that the refs don't have a hidden agenda like they did last year for the Steelers. I really hope the Steelers took the refs out to Dinner after last years Superbowl.

Colts can't stop the run, Bears can stop ANY offense. Rex just has to hand off the ball, his O-line will do the rest. All the Bears' defense has to do is pressure Manning and they choke.

If you're truly a better team you wouldn't just blow games to lesser teams.....thats completely contradictory.
Peyton Manning is a stud, but the Bears have found ways to win when they weren't at their best, even if it isn't always Sports Center highlight material.
