I wonder how bad the COLTS will spank the Bears

I think you need to Photoshop Rex Grossman now.

EDIT: Or put Peyton Manning's head on a horses body...because he looks like a horse. :D

We'll see..

People seem to pile on to the perty QB......defenses seem to be an afterthought...

Actually I hope more people like you keep picking the Colts.........sure has worked out well for the Bears in the playoffs...

Peyton is a stud, no doubt, but Grossman won 13 games this year. I don't understand the hate....this is essentially his first full season. Peyton never had any bad games?

Oh well, just crown the Colts...just crown their asses.

want both teams to lose. Sadly, it won't happen.

Bears, because they really aren't good enough to be there.
Colts, because I want to see Peyton cry like a baby.

The game in a nutshell:
All will be determined within the first 15 minutes. It'll either be a blowout, or a punt-fest. Might as well turn it to Animal Planet and commit suicide while watching puppy bowl...

Prediction:
Colts 41, Bears 3

Backup prediction:
Colts 6, Bears 9 w/ last minute field goal

I bet Peyton cries all the way to and from the bank

Watch Vinatieri win it on a last second field goal again...or maybe he will finally miss a big kick? :o

Both kickers are very good. But I'll take Vinatieri, shit he was the guy who won the Pats that first Superbowl. That kick in the snow against the Raiders was incredible. Pats got a GIFT call to win that game as we all know.

Agh, i was on another message board talking about the game and fans from BOTH sides are just unrealistic. OK OK, so i rained on the Bears parade last week and I'll admit that as a team, you can only play the games they have for you on the schedule and who cares how you win, just win. But did you know that the Bears only beat 2 teams with a winning record in the regular season.

But i still like to look at the stats and how well the team played and how well the opposition is/was. And the best team doesn't always win, it's just a game and anything can happen.

And i don't care what anyone says, the best in the NFL is sitting home right now and that's the Chargers. I'm not a fan of them but IMHO they would have bitch slapped the Colts if they didn't make 100,000 mistakes against the Pats. And i guess that makes an even bigger case for the Bears. The most talented team can play like crap on any given day.

One thing also, the Colts let up a record amount of return yards against the Pats, if they don't find a way to contain Hester they are asking for trouble. I just hope it's a good game and i PRAY that the refs don't have a hidden agenda like they did last year for the Steelers. I really hope the Steelers took the refs out to Dinner after last years Superbowl.

I thought the superbowl was going to be chargers/saints, with the chargers taking it.

I'm calling Bears win 34-17

Colts can't stop the run, Bears can stop ANY offense. Rex just has to hand off the ball, his O-line will do the rest. All the Bears' defense has to do is pressure Manning and they choke.

You've never watched football before have you?

If the Chargers and other such teams are truly the best teams in the league, they wouldn't be sitting at home....they'd be in the Super Bowl.

If you're truly a better team you wouldn't just blow games to lesser teams.....thats completely contradictory.

Peyton Manning is a stud, but the Bears have found ways to win when they weren't at their best, even if it isn't always Sports Center highlight material.

I've watched a LOT of football, and I know that either the Colts will spank the hell out of the bears, or, it'll be a field-goal contest, as with the Colts post-season this year.

The Colts defense showed up during post-season...

If the Colts can stop Larry Johnson, Jamal Lewis, and Dillon and Moroney of the Pats then i don't see why you think they can't stop the Bears running game. And Alexander had over 100 yards against the Bears. And what if Rex gets any pressure on him? He throws pics.

The Bears won't stop the Colts from moving the ball up and down the field but if they can keep them from scoring TD's they have a shot. If they force the Colts to settle for Field Goals like in the Ravens game then they can keep the score close.

And i watched parts of the Saints Bears game again. When the score was 16-14 the Bears were back on their heels and the Saints were moving the move easily on that D. The Saints were going for HR instead of getting in FG range. Remember when they missed the FG? That's where the game turned, they were trying for a TD instead of getting in closer for a FG. There would have been a lot more pressure on Rex if that game was 17-16 because it was late in the game. But anyway, enough of the Saints already!

If the Colts play D like they did against the Jaguars then your formula above can work, but the Colts haven't played that bad in weeks. I just wonder if the Colts are still hungry for this game after beating the Pats, they can say all they want but we will only find out when they take the field.

Not true. Lets talk talent which you can argue = the best team, at least on paper. Put it this way, if the Chargers played the Pats 7 times i bet that the Chargers would win 4 of the games. And if that knucklehead just fell to the ground after he picked off Brady then the Chargers would have won. IMHO this makes more of a case that they Bears can win, because anything in a game can happen.

And the fact is that LT is the best back in Football and the Pats couldn't stop him but their idiot coach gave him the ball only 8 times in that second half.

I'm just hoping for a good game. I would like to see Manning win - but don't really care at this point. I'm a LIONS fan so I just want to see a real game at this point.
