Nice tone man!!

I like the groove in your music, you got da funk goin on :D 8)

Thank you, Sir. Gotta have that stank! :D

Glad you got it worked out Negro. Sounded like you were panicing a little on the phone.

I did! I had that real anxious feeling like somethying aint right and I dont know how to fix it. Thankfully Clay did. It took me all of 2 1/2 minutes to cut that wire out. Plugged it back in, and it was back to normal.

And like I said on the phone, I knew something was screwy especially with the way the humbucker in my strat sounded. Because as you know, that pickup sounds beautiful through everything Ive put it through...

And even though I returned it to stock, the amp still cleans up really well. I think my old tubes were just biased too high (apparantly waaaay too high according to Clay) originally and thats why it wasnt doing it in the first place.

I did a bunch of mods to my '77 JMP MV head and ended up undoing them as well. Now I am building a PTP Metro clone 2203 which I will mod and unmod to my heart's content! :D

If i had gthe technical ability, Id be all about building a clone and modding the hell out of it. Unfortunately Im a technical gimp.

Hey Shea, I think you'd like my Cameron JMP. Its a 79JMP with the Aldrich mod and a bunch of other mods. Even though its a high gain amp, if you run it on the vintage setting it cops a total plexi vibe. With the gain down low and a boost, it gets the coolest smooth blues tone.. real stratty! 8)

Ive never played a Cameron but I want too badly! I got the chance to kick it with Mark in NAMM and he's a very cool guy. He's also an awesome guitar player. :)

Hes a killer player! I think you'd really like Marks amps, they can go anywhere from stock plexi type tones, to hot rodded superlead, to insane gain. But they retain clarity even with the highest gain settings!

Il have to hook you up with some tracks from Doug Aldrich's solo cds, they show what Marks amps can do!
