Yeah, my Blackmore. I'm at school though, no amp down here. A friend of mine has a Yamaha T100C combo though, and I have Amplitube on my computer.

Ohh ok so you did pick up your Blackmore. Cool I know you just sold the 5150 didnt know if you re-uped or not.

BTW that is one cool looking guitar. I have to agree that I like the solid colors better than those sponged finishes.

Figures, the one Caparison I post where no one bashes it is one I don't like (the finish that is). :P  :D

you know you won't keep it long, just sell it when you get bored and don't bother with a repaint

i might've bought it for that price, but those are long scale i'm sure

The repaint is very cheap, so that really isn't even an issue. And yes, the Dellinger models are 25.5" scale.

+1 Getting it repainted will hurt the resale (You KNOW you will!)

I really like that one, the Dellinger is my fav Caparison outta all of em. Im seriously thinking of getting the Dellinger II for my next guitar! 8)

mega,

how do you like the vigier?

Awesome guitar! Gorgeous guitar for sure. Still need to play that with my Blackmore to see how it really sounds, same with this Caparison.

The repaint will increase the value of the guitar. :)

Maybe the Caparisons are different, but I've never seen that happen. Even with Les Paul Reissues, sending them off to have Tom Murphy repaint them you won't get your money back. Looks better stock anyway. :D

I had a Horus that was repainted and it sold for about $1900, that's how much a brand new one sells for. The Caparisons are very different from something like a Les Paul. You can find Les Pauls anywhere, and there are 500 different models. The Caparisons are rare as hell to begin with, and add a custom finish to that...and that equals more money.

wow it looks even better in that pic!!

I really like this one! :)

Shane (the guy who runs BMusic in Australia, and the Caparison forum) should be getting one of those in stock pretty soon. He always takes a ton of awesome hi-res pics of all the guitars he sells, so that won't help your GAS at all. :D
