Marc (46&2) let me borrow his Cauble amp and Im also in the process of putting my old band back together. So last night we tried out a drummer, taught him a few songs, and here is one the songs after he got the parts down:

I want comments on the tone. What does it sound like to you? Does it remind you of another amp? Thanks,

I can't access the link man. What's the link to the page with the song, instead of the 'start player' link?

Im digging the tone. Almost sounds like a boosted Super Reverb. I am listening on inear sony headphones so take that into account. :D

its the first one, DFTP Practice. :)

Sounds killer. I actually think the tone is similar to my Blackmore when I eq it for it a different tone than I normally use. The gain is very thick and focused. Nice riff, too! :D

Thanks Jason. :)

As I mentioned over at HCAF, I tend to EQ amps to sound like my Marshalls. Its like I have that tone stuck in my head for life.

If you want I could bring it over one day and you can check it out. It runs on both 6L6' and EL34's at the same time. And you can switch to a piar of either and run it at 50 watts. Pretty interesting concept.

The clean channel aint bad either but its kind of weird to set up. Its also got a built in boost that works well.

Its also a massive amp in size. same size as a Herbert! :o

Absolutely. That sounds like a very cool amp. Never heard of 'em til now. We should figure out a time when we can make that happen.
