I feel more happy on a day to day basis with the 5150 than the SE,, and it isn't like we will sound BAD with dual 5150s, ya know? I'll explain further at practice on Tuesday. :)

AS far as I know, it's purely cosmetic, but, it is the newest version, so if they've changed the amp at all for 07's, from the original versions, then it might have tonal changes as well, I don't know. I assume not.

Krunk. It isn't like we sounded bad, AT ALL in Victoria....ya know? Plus, everytime I turn on the 5150 and play with it, I love it, the SE I have a love/hate going on with, and I get tired of that, ya know.

5150's can easily hang with amps 4 and 5 times their price, they're just amazing metal amps.

Yep. I've owned my 5150 longer than any amp I've ever owned now, it's been able to hang with the Diezel's, Bogners, Mesas, ENGL's, and VHT stuff I've owned. They rule. No two ways around it.

My Angelus is Keanu Reeves. The 5150 is probably the best amp for me, honestly, and I think I've been too much of a gear snob to admit it, basically.

Indeed, I feel the same way. Have you ever played an Engl Blackmore? It sounds to me you would really like that one if you love the 5150.
