Uh oh, are V30's slowly growing on you? I don't mind them, but i still like MC90's more. They seem like a smoother speaker than V30's, but IMHO both are very good for heavier stuff. But i see Boogie using the MC90 in everything from Lonestars to Recto cabs and it sounds good in everything. And for a little tiny bedroom 1x12, the tiny Lonestar special kicks some ass with a boost pedal.

Lets put it this way...
I've never in my life seen Ralphie turn down the gain and drop a gain stage before on any amp...For God Sakes, he boosts a Mark 4 with the gain on 10....LOL
I think we both agreed last night that we would rather have this amp than a Herbert.
It's been a while since I've played a VH4, so I can't compare it to any other Diezel other than a Herbert or Einstein.

So don't think I'm saying anything bad about you. Maybe when I come to ny in may you and steve will let me check out some of your gear.
Stevevht, I have no problem showing you my reciet. Its no secret really, I just faxed a copy to the guy I sold it to.
It wasn't stolen at all, I bought it new.
Gc has a certain amount that they add to the dealer cost towards the overhead and comissions. i just pm me your phone number and fax. And steve I just want you to know I thought it was cool you did the group buy, I was saying anything bad at all, but carl would like you to think that. I always try and hook people up like that.

Lovely time for all . I totally agree with you on taking time with amps. You need to spend a few days at home or in studio to get the 'feel' for an amp and tweak it to it's best [subjective] tones.danyeo":c3503 said::|::QBB:
Oatmeal Stout and Dominos Pizza = a fucking stench of death and pollution the likes of such Staten Island has never seen coming from my rectum.

no no no no no, i have convinced myself that i don't need multiple amps being the basement dweller that i am. Multiple amps isn't good for a marriage. My driveway needs to be repaved this Spring......but fuck that i want a new amp!

I just can't see JVM having the low end thunder of Herbert. That's what Herbie was designed for. Diezels are just beasts.Digital Jams":f49a2 said:I know that I am going to dig the JVM but I do not think it would replace my Herbert gas, that amp does its own thing so freaking well.
Yes the reverb is so good that I don't need any effects at all. I hope Marshall gives Santiall a BIG bonus.SkyhighRocks":945f3 said:The one thing that I REALLY liked on the JVM for the half hour or so I had it on was the reverb. I only got to try it on the clean and crunch channels but it was great. I usually hate digital reverb and prefer spring, but this was one of the best I've heard in an amp.
