Who gives a crap what the amp sounds like when you can play a guitar like that?

Steve

Sounds great. Agreed that the playing is great. All onboard verb?

Yeah...meant to say in my original post......But I was posting listening to the Hendrix.....Now I see you kicked in some shred too......That sounded fabulous.....but then again....you could probably make a Hello Kitty Squir sound like a $2000 axe. Nice playing....Skills!

There are mistakes in this shit. I'm not looking to get a perfect take. I got a headache

Sounds great Carl, NICE!
Your first impressions of the amp, overall??

Keith

Thanks for the clips!

Just getting through the first clip. Nice sounding amp and kickin' lead playing there at the end Carl.

great playing man, sounds awesome

is that with your Tonkers?

..

Hmmm, I'm not digging the clean clip much, but it could just be the mic. It seems to be lacking some percussiveness and it's obvious that it's not your playing. Maybe "spank" is the word I'm looking for... not sure.

So Carl Steve, how do they do modern heavy sounds?? Probably not your bag, but steve might wanna answer this one.

Since I see a lot of guys talking about the 80s tones.

Well I don't know that it'll get as chimey as Fender but can get very nice in it's own way. It's a way above average clean channel for a channel switcher. Another factor here is that Carl said these were at low volume. As nice as this amp sounds at low volume it's so much nicer at louder volumes. Every single channel just come alive. I was so impressed with mine when I finally got to hear it opened up a bit.

Damn nice. I have never been a Marshall guy, but this makes me think.

Sounds great!

:rawk:

Very Cool Carl!!

Heres the deal... If Anyone can't tell how versatile this amp is just by listening to Carl and the Georges clips, then I don't know what to say!!

Wait until you get a chance to let it rip at loud volumes... power section working, speakers moving.... oh man... it is the shit!

Thanks Ralph. No humbucker guitars at the moment, but this thing must kill with hums

It does Kill With hums for sure!! I'm digging what you did with single coils! The word Meaty comes to mind!!!

Sounds pretty good for low volume playing. Some killer lead playing at the end of the first clip.

The clean was nice, a bit thin, but that might have been from the low volume. It's got a nice sparkle. The mild OD tones were sweet too.
