Hey Bruce, nice to have you here. I'm the resident Gutierrez Guitars CSR. Just quick question for you about the Randall RM100 head.

Is it possible to send you one and have it modded to accept your 2 channel modules? and what would it cost?

Thats it quick and simple. Keep up the good work, and hopefully someday I will be able to come up for an amp seminar.

It is in the works! Do us a favor and email Randall and tell them you want your head modified to accept dual channel modules!

I would go for this, too!
But Randall pretty much ignores their emails. I gave up on 'em a while back.

try again, I wrote a Nasty email to them when I found out they hired Jody Dankberg (Krank) and they replied the next day, and they have supllied me with all those schematics as well.

I'm gonna email them today, so I'll let you know if I get a reply.

Stacy replied to me 3 weeks later, lol. But she sent me the exact same ones she sent you, so that tells me she didn't even read my email.

To use the dual channel modules the head needs a new midi board and module board. Good Luck getting those. :D

Randall will not be able to do that for you. We (Egnater) are working on getting the boards to do the mods. I've done a few and it is feasible. We don't have the boards in stock right now but am working on getting them. Problem is we don't have spares from our normal production so we need to do a special small run just for the mod. Cost for the modification will be about $250-$300 when the time comes.

Wow... that seems like a pretty damn reasonable cost for the mod to me!

Wow! I have a couple of RM4s and I'd be very interested in that.

That sounds like an extremely cool idea...and a very reasonable price actually...now if I could just afford the dual channel modules ;)

Bruce,

would this be possible with the RM4s as well?

thanks!

Bruce ( almighty),

I'm excited about the possibility of converting my M4 to accept dual modules. I asked Frank about that some time ago and he said it could not be done.
What are the chances of modifying my M4 for a parallel Stereo Fx loop at the same time ? Even if I lose the series loop, that's ok. Why ? Because presently I'm running 2 M4's, fed by a stereo volume pedal , connected by a "Y" cable from the guitar. The mono FX loops have L and R send and returns from the Lexicon MPx-1, the final output ( post loop) goes to my Rt2/50 in stereo for recording. It would simplify my rig greatly.

Thanks for being there for us tone junkies,

Howard

Any word yet on when this will be available? I just scored a RM100, and would LOVE to get some of the Eggy modules!!!!!!

:D

Hey guys, my name is Rich and I work here at Randall in inside sales. I have seen a number of comments on a few boards lately about customers not being able to get in contact w/ anyone, or not having emails responded to in a reasonable time frame. While I'm not sure why this is happening, I would like to offer up my services to help you guys out as much as I can. Please feel free to shoot me an email w/ any questions, and I can try to help you out. Hopefully I can be of assistance to you all of you.

Hey, I bet that was me you saw complaining on multiple boards . Your customer support goes up and down in stages. One year it's excellent, the next it's lacking. I love you guys so much I just don't want to see you go down the tubes over little issues.

I am about to email you asking for Warhead X2 schematics that I've been looking for, for over a year. Stacy from musiccorp emailed some, but they are only the first pages. I'm missing pages 2 and 3 from a couple sets. I'm trying to get the EQ section fixed.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by! I'll give you a title under your name to help everyone get to know you. Tell Doug to drop by, too. We miss him. He was the one with the awesome support!

Also, you can only add one website to that field in your profile or it'll throw me an error. I went ahead and deleted one, so add whichever one you wanted to keep.

Mitch,

Thanks a lot for changing the title and looking at the email! Shoot me your email and I will send you all of the schematics I have for the X2 (there are 5 pages). Whatever I can do to help :)

Open up one of them with adobe reader and look at the bottom right hand corner. Does it say something like "pages 1 / 3". I have all of the page 1's, but not the rest.

I forgot to send the email earlier .
