Gona be pickin up a vintage 30 loaded Orange cab tomorrow. (black not orange btw! :D )
Wondered if anyone else has tried such cab, either with a vh4 or any other amp?

I use the VH4 with an Orange 2x12 with v30s...

Wonderful cabs... Heavy but really nice sounding...

Hope this helps,

John

I just got my herbert and I also own the exact orange cab you're getting. The cab is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will love it!! I purchased mine after losing an auction online for a Diezel cab (I already own one Diezel 4x12). The seller sent me an email and told me he also had two Orange cabs he was selling and that he switched from Diezel to Orange and NEVER looked back. I also knew a local guy playing an organe with an Engl that LOVED his so I said what the hell and ordered it. It's UNREAL. Best bass response/tightness in a cab EVER, and I've owned about 15 cabs, all really nice. Hope you love it too!!

Nice man, sounds good, Could you post your display picture fullsize on here, that's a good shot of the VH4 :)

Cheers guys!
Picked up the cab today and hooked it up a little while ago.I have to say, you are all right! This thing sounds GREAT with the VH4! :D
What a cab! Wish i had bought one years ago  would have saved a lot of bread buying other makes ;)
It came with a full touring style flight case, which is awesome too, its a bit of a chew to fit in the car, but i'm planin' on using the top part of it to stand the amp and cab on, so I can hear it better and plus it looks very cool!
heres the bigger pic of the VH4 and the vht cab I just sold. Still got the Lexicon G2, which is just crackin!

Just a quick bump too say i've tried the cab at practice tonight and I'm blown away! BEST sounding cab I ever used :)
To be honest, I tried the vh4 with a vht and marshall cabs (which I even tried out different speaker combo's), and was just about ready to part with the amp, thinkin that it just wasn't for me  . I'm just so pleased I bought the orange! It has breathed new life into the vh4, I would recommend Orange to anyone

It's a bit funny that different cabs can make such difference. What is it that actually makes the difference? Is it the wood or something?

Glad you like in man! I LOVE MY ORANGE!! It's crazy...ugly as sin but just has the massive sound. It's got to be the 18 ply marine grade birch....

What MIDI board is that?
Thats the midi floor controller for the lexicon G2. It's great cause I can operate all the functions on the rack unit (including wah and pedal style effects) and switch channels on the vh4 simultaniously. Its real simple, just one cable too, as it also carries the power as well. Here's a pic of the cab. I've cleaned it up a tad since this photo including super glueing the tiny rips!

Dear Bleedblack !

Please give me a favour and check out if there is a stand inside
the cab. The stand is a piece of wood going from the frontpanel
to the rearpanel. Is there a lot of tension on the rearpanel, caused
by the stand ? And how much kilos has the cab ?

Thanks,

Peter

Hey Peter! Nice to hear from you. Your amp is awesome! Wonderfull design. I will check the cab for you before the week is out. I work all day tomorrow and saturday, I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks.
