i was always wondering...does a guy like, say, richie sambora flub notes sometimes when he plays live...or are pros so well rehearsed that they play everything perfectly every night...

It wasn't a mistake, I ment to do that. Nobody is mistake free.

Yes, everybody does, I've even seen Satch do it (Wiltern Theater some years back).

Landau never flubs!

and if he does it still sounds good.

I think he might flub on purpose once in a while, to make us think he's human.

Did you see Slash trying to play "Ain't talkin bout love" at the RnR induction for VH?

Marty Friedman, Rust In Peace Tour, the interlude in Holy Wars. :gethim:

That isnt a song he wrote, and it isnt a song he has played 2,000 times.

I've seen Yngwie several times. One time in particular he slid up to the wrong note and it was a big, fat pickle. His whole band instantly turned to look at him wide eyed to see if he had fallen (or maybe thought he had too much pork sausage before the show and had a heart attack). Yngwie just started to laugh and resumed ripping it up.

Who doesn't flub. The pros have the experience to better cover them up though.

Does Kirk Hamster qualify as a Pro? He flubs every other note.

Of course he's pro. Dude, nobody could ever play as good with Metallica as Kirk has.

If I can play the intro to that tune then surely someone who plays guitar for a living should be able to.
