hi guys, i'm new to the diezel family and to this forum...

anyway, i just bought a 100 watt einstein head yesterday and am currently looking into buying a diezel cab. any suggestions? i'm not in a band right now, so mostly i'm playing at "bedroom" level. at the same time, i don't want to necessarily limit myself in the future. 2x12 vs 4x12? front vs rear? d12 vs v30 vs both? too many possibilities...

i play a lot of heavier stuff; my favorite guitar player is john petrucci of dream theater, so i'd like to have his versatility as far as heavy rythym, sweet lead, sparkling cleans. i'd also like to have his talent...

also, any pickup suggestions for this setup?

any help (especially from peter) would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!

I like the rear loaded cabs! They have more balls and sound richer with almost the same punch as the front loaded.
V30s for me.

2x12 are really nice too. if you're getting a 4x12 make sure it's either Diezel or Bogner straight 4x12 (same manufacturer and spec for both companies from what I heard)

the diezel sounds real nice with the v30's. Recommendation will be diezel or splawn cab!
Thanks,
Josh

I like my Herbert through my Bogner Uberkab better than my Diezel 412R. It's pretty much due to the x-pattern speaker configuration of the Bogner.

For a 4x12 I would strongly recommend a Diezel front loaded with V30s (give em a bit time to break in).
