Satriani should have kept it!
It is a100 watt EL34 head instead of using 6L6's but it does have a bias switch to switch between the two if you want. It also has different trannies and a couple of internal mods. It is one of the most organic and toneful amps I have ever played! It also has a built in attenuator if you need a great tone at bedroom level.

When are they supposed to be released?
You and I have bought/sold many of the same amps over the years, so I stick with recommendations from people with similar tastes, for the most part.
I didn't like the mids on the MK50.... too honky ... the Hellcat clips sound better to me. I've been waiting for a used one to surface, but haven't had any luck.

I thought about it but went for a Vintage Modern instead. I love the Hellcat clips but alot of guys are saying it's pretty trebly with no thickness for heavier tones like MK50. I would definitely have to play a cornford before I buy.

That auction sketched me out from bidding....5 sent emails from me with no reply, no current feedback, and no transactions listed since 2000 ???? Payment methods listed paypal as prefered, but in two different areas the seller says he will only accept what are basically untraceable forms of payment
Looked way too much like a hijacked ebay account.
