Switchable -/+ mode on Herbert CH2

Has anyone successfully modded their Herbert to have the -/+ mode switchable? Can you provide any tips on this?

One suggestion I came across was to wire up the line out jack to the -/+ switch.

Would love to have the - / + mode switchable! That would be killer. I love the - mode. It's so soulful sounding, it makes you cry!!
 
It would probably be do-able by a relatively simple mod, but would it be worth your warranty? that would be the only downside.

I WISH - and + were footswitchable. I wouldnt use any other channel if that were the case. Been begging Peter for 2 years now.
 
I could care less. Mine stays on +. I'm thinking about super-gluing it there so noone can change it. :lol:

Channel 2 + mode is my favorite tone of any amp I've ever play.
 
Dude... the - mode is singing like no other! It's THE perfect tone for vintage stuff! I can't believe how good it sounds! I love the Herbert!

Not really. Someone on a german board I post at did the mode as described above, after he talked to Peter at Musikmesse, and Peter said it won't void the warranty at all.
