I was playing thru the Fatpipe before! Kick ass distortion.
How loud were you playing on that clip. That was a fat thick tone in that one. Nice!

Makes me want to buy that amp and pedal. :D

TV volume.
That was with the EVH Charvel.

Great pedal. I was playing it thru the Colonial last night.

Which do you find to be thicker but still have the Marshallesque cut the VM or Colonial with the the fat pipe?

I haven't plugged the Fatpipe into the VM yet!

Two different amps though.
The Colonial is NVM.

The VM's clean is in the low gain mode and dependent on where the preamp knobs are.

I did the top 4 fuzz clips thru the VM set mostly clean.

Cool. I was thinking of picking up a cool pedal amp now that I have a modern high gain amp I like alot. Played the VM head an cab and it wasnt bad at all, so trying to decide which way to go. Was also looking at maybe a JCM800 clone. Dont know who makes one though.

Ive read the Heritage takes pedals well.

The HC is a VERY pedal friendly amp.

The VM depends. You can run it gainy and hit it with od's, but for fuzzes, they usually need to see a cleaner channel. The low gain mode is good for this but it's not like a NMV.

Thanks for the info. The best amp I had that took pedals like a champ was my Roccaforte Custom 80. Maybe I should try one of the Jannelle 80/100's. That may take care of the pedal amp and high gain in one head. Hmmmm....
