Einstein: Mode of Ch1 influences tone of Ch2?

While playing at very low volume tonight, I heard a difference in tone of the lead Channel 2 if I changed Ch1 modes (using the foot switch mod).

I found Ch2 to be nicest if Ch1 is in Mode2.

It is very subtle but audible ... or do I hear some coughing fleas?

Is there at all a chance that the mode selection of Ch1 slightly influences Ch2 - from a circuit point of view?

Well no big deal anyways, as it sounds f§$%& cool in whatever mode, this is just out of interest.

you are right.

i did notice this the other day as well.

i was on channel two but toggled channel one, it definetily changes the sound.

i do not have any mods on my amp.

peter, any comments? :)

Yes there is a small influence in the gain amount.
I ever sold the Einstein as a two channel amp and therefore
this is no big deal for me.

So two more sounds available!!! ;-)
As discussed earlier I really don't think this matters at higher volumes.

True, I discovered it at very low volume, and as said above, no big deal, something to play around with when you feel like and nothing that is disturbing.

Actually, with the foot switch mod, I can also hear a difference in Ch1 when I am in the clean Mode1 and switch the other button between Mode 2 and 3 (which only works on the foot switch, not via the switch on the front panel). Also a slight gain difference I think.

I've never had an Einstein but I had a Herbert. At the time the channel modes were not footswitchable. Has this changed for the einstien? That would make me interested in one as I would probably live in channel 1.
