Was he still using Lee Jackson preamps back then or did he have a JCM 800 ?

Both are great tho...

I would take an 800 with a boost pedal any day over those amps... just my experience I guess.

I owned the Metaltronix M-1000 for about one day. It was the worst sounding amp I've ever played through
Who's the chick with Lee Jackson?MrDan666":a2c59 said:Ok here we go, first pic is Zakks Rig he used on the tours for No Rest For The Wicked and most likely for the album too. Theres what looks like two Jubilee heads, but Lee gutted them completely and rebuilt them to a hot rodded JCM800 type spec. The rack has the usual stuff like the Lee Jackson preamps, im sure he used these for cleans because his two Marshall heads there did all the dirty stuff.
Now this one is the No More Tears rig, which he used on the tours for the No More Tears album. Most likely the Live and Loud cd too. Looks like hes got a Metaltronix M-1000 head and a Blues 59 there too. Similar stuff in the rack system (GP-1000 preamps, Yamaha SPX-90s, Wireless system etc)
Hope this helps man!

I'm pretty sure sure for Live At Budokan, Zakk went in and did some double tracking in the studio.
