Just to let you know Pat that you still OWN............but now for my retort
When Eddie grabs a lester and drops the bar I will listen to your rant about Steve's abuse......EVH's solos are as predictible as the senate passing the bill for their annual raise in 34 seconds flat. You can follow along with his solos and be 2 minutes ahead in your mind what he is going to do.
Bogner.....I agree his tone is lacking with his current rig and would love to get him behind a Fuchs TDS or MK IV. Ed is still pissed off at that chitown NAMM in 87 when the Kramer guys ran to the head to toss their cookies when the vail dropped and the JEM and RG series were released.....so much for Ed's mission to bankrupt Fender with Kramer
Yngwie.....can't say nothing bad about the 2003 G3 bringer of the pain but are you should that Yngwie maybe upstaged Ham Sammich just a tad on the 80s dork-o-meter? The crowd is still receiving their daily dosage of downers to sooth the pain of being sprayed with Yngwie ball sack sweat from 543235 leg kicks.
You being the connoissuer of musicians that elevate the realm of what a guitarist should be should be thankful for the dark one's record label.......some of your faves you would not have without him.
Ed??? Has not done crap for nobody but himself while he hid behind pop songs that now play in elevators and yuppies with Eddie Bauer laptop bags tap their feet along to it.
That said Ed was my reason to pick up the guitar and fondly remember my first time hearing eruption and hated Vai for making every VH song look soooooooooo easy during the DLR shows. Section 101 2nd row I watched in horror as Vai and Sheehan just served notice who the new bad boys were.........not the same boss indeed.
I have EVO passes for his Oct show in CT, can't wait
Plus who are you fooling? You were as giddy as a junior getting ready for her first prom waiting for Gilbert.....the 80s neon flame is still in you Pat and you cannot fool me
