Arg why did I learn this amp was in project ONE day AFTER I sold mine ? I will have to wait five months without any decent amp ! :aww:

Are there any information about its dimensions and weight ? To compare with the 50W combo.

It´s not as heavy as the Einstein combo.
Maybe 25 kilograms.

Just curious .will the Hot channel get the Einstein Mega drive of Channel 1 .
Is the boost footswitchable ?
also any guess at Us price .

This amp is designed to get close to the Herbert's second channel or channel 3 of the VH4, but it is NOT designed for the Einstein's ultra high gain, as there are three Diezel amps currently getting this type of overdrive.

This is a class A type amp and designed more towards a vintage sound with the typical high quality Diezel touches.

Read earlier posts in this thread to get the low-down on the Schmidt.

It´s an other type of distortion, think blues.
Of course footswitchable.
