I'm not one for graphics, but I think this guitar looks pretty killer. The shadow effects, and the abalone inlay outlines make a nice touch IMHO.

I think that was a NAMM piece. My buddy has a kick ass GMP Roxie!

Didn`t they have a big going out of buisness Ebay firesale where they let everything go for super cheap a year ago or so?

Yes. They had some great product. Too bad the company just never took off.

i'd like it if the flames pointed the other way...which may seem really stupid

Gmp had some badass rebel flag guitars that splarkled, I liked the paint jobs gmp had, too bad they are gone now.

That was my first thought, too. Other than the flame direction, I dig it.

I understand what you guys are saying in regards to the direction. The again, everyone does the flames that way so I kinda dig it not being like every other builders.

I saw an episode of Emrile Live when he had Pat Benatar as a guest and Neil Giraldo was sitting in with the band.

He had these Metal Flake finish Gretsch looking GMP's that Sounded fantastic( then again, hes one of those guys that can make anything sound fantastic IMO)

He was playing with a heavily overdriven hard rock tone and sounded and played great and by the end of the show, I was thinking that I wanted a guitar like his!!!

Theyre a little gawdy for my tastes but more than a few of them have grown on me for some odd( disturbing) reason...

I have pretty gawdy taste, and many of the GMP's I've seen are way too much for me. LOL. This is one of the few that I actually dig.

I love Vs, but this particular one turns me off on so many levels.

I don't think you're crazy, just a little weird. :P

IIRC, some of the cats from GMP were ex Charvel/Jackson employees that split after Fender bought out the company. I could be wrong, however. This would explain the love for wacky, far out themes on guitars.
