It does not sound like a Mesa so dont waste your time, one tube is not going to revoice that amp.

Dude, you need to go after doublebarrel like a freight train since you are a rig talker. No way would I be taking that crap from that bitch, freaking tee him up and unload.

You're right, it's not going to revoice the amp, but it certainly makes a pretty big improvement IMO and is definitely worth trying.

Nah.....the other guys already handed him his ass, he's just upset that I beat him to a good deal, and was expecting me to sell it cheap because I got it cheap.

He'll get over it, I'll sell or trade the amp, I'll get my Mark IV and everyone will be happy

That was indeed a very funny WTF moment. Man, you sure pulled off an amazing deal conspiracy on that poor chump. Let's see if we can get some 5150's on the cheap and screw 'em again! :gethim:

i'm upset that i really want the amp, and can't afford it

Sheeet! I bought a fantastic '71 Superlead from GC in 2005 for $999 + tax. I Realized I was financially an idiot (being unemployed at the time) and sold it a month later for a quick $1500. I didn't tell the guy what I got it for but $1500 was still a great deal. Selling that amp paid my rent and a carpayment. If I could have made more in a quick time frame I would have. I still miss that amp. It was an absolute ass kicker.

It's your amp, What you want for it is up to you, This other nonsense is silly. What a bunch of goofball's. I would never let my M IV go,

I've already had a couple offers, one for a Mark IV, we'll see if that comes about. HOPEFULLY!

Yea this time, it wont be leaving. I will just have to do this all over again, and find a good cheap deal and trade my way up to a second amp... ;)

Nothing wrong with buying low and selling high its the american way.

Actually, the Blackmore can SOUND very similar to Mark series Mesa's. It doesn't feel the same, but it can sound damn close.

I have A/B's extensively with C+ and IV...never had one when I owned a III

Fuck 'em. If I get a good deal and am in a position to pass it along at a good deal I will, but that's not always the case. I once bought a Bogner 101B with all options, a metal grille, and an Axess-Electronics switcher and cable for $2200 including shipping. When I wanted to sell it I was in a position where I wanted/needed to make a profit so I said fuck it, bypassed HCAF and put it on ebay.

Again, I say fuck 'em.

i wouldnt give a shit if you bought it for 30 cents, sell it for market value. thats fair.

Bingo.......FEEL ;) Not the same.

The best part of the MK IV is the feel and the ease of play, I for one do not like to fight an amp if possible. The MK IV is just sooooooooooooo easy to play it is not funny.
