Is underarm hair on men that UGLY?

The reason I observe this is because of my hero in my avatar--he always goes sleevless on stage and shaves his underarms...

I shave my armpits because it's kinda gross when I put on deodorant and its all in that hair. I used to sweat a lot, but I don't anymore. I guess it's personal preference?

Stupid discussion, and I know I am irritating some (most all) with just my simple presense here--but I dont think its the hair that makes you sweat--its more anxiety...

It's bacteria that causes B.O. not perspiration. Shaving your armpit can lessen the bacteria that attaches to the hair. I shave, only because my B.O can be unbearable....even to me.

I cant bare the armpit hair, especially in the summer in the heat!
 
If you notice, most weight lifters will shave their entire body. Their muscles look "cleaner" as a result, but I'm not 100% sure if that's the reason why. I never bothered to ask my brother (he's into weightlifting). I would assume that was also passed onto wrestlers since most of them are just weight lifters with bad acting skills.

I started shaving mine some years ago so my Drysol would actually make contact with my skin, and then work.

I still shave em because arm pit hair is fucking gross looking.... ick
