although I am honored to even be mentioned in this thread, It is my opinion that there is no best when it comes to music and the arts. That topic is highly subjective and cannot be measured through logic. It's no different then asking everyone what is the best color. Everyone is going to have there own personal favorite and no one persons opinion is greater then another IMHO.

Correct, Ralph--but with playing. the good players stand out above the others. Unlike a favorite color--guitarists, if all of equal ability, THEN you can pick a fav. But some players just stink. Ya hear me???

pretty impossible to say, as there are some truly badass players here...and a few total beasts that only post here once in a blue moon

Ive got plenty Mikey... as you obviously know, I was obviously kidding... I suppose that can hang in the rock, hard rock and blues genres but there are some players here that I would never presume to compare myself to, I try to be the best player that I can be and I know that I have it within me to be a much better version of myself. i know whatcha mean about being a better version of yourself, i feel very much the same way...the motivation to get better always seems to come in short bursts, i've been on it pretty hard lately but who's to say how long that will last
