You are correct that God is all knowing. This means that he knows the decision we all are going to make. But he does not interfere with them.

This totally agrees with my point.

Well in a way you are correct. Since the God I believe in is Just and Good and to be so means that the Bible and the word is his, then he knows every hair on your head and knows that somebody will be Gay. Funny thing is he also knows every sin you have ever done and will do. And guess what, you still have a chance to be forgiven if you choose to want this.

Guess what else, any one of your sins are not any better or worse than a gay person. So before you put yourself above them think twice.

Guess what else, your next post : yep he knows what your going to type already!

The thing I don't understand is that most behavior considered to be a sin is hurting someone. Who does two guys boning each other hurt? It just seems somewhat strange.

Humanity as a whole, lol . Not to mention my imagination...

:/

sins are usually defined as deliberate actions (which you choose to do, fully aware of the consequences) which hurt yourself or others

So when you suck dongs you're hurting the Christians. And they like it!

I almost hesitate to jump in but here I go. Christians are not perfect but God is. God sent his Son Jesus to the earth to tell us how to live and not only tell but to show by his actions. He healed the sick, made the blind see and raised the dead. He hung out with bad people whores rubbed perfume on his feet with thier hair to prepare him for his death. He was rejected by the church leaders of his time as a fool and a madman. He was hung on a cross until he died and after three days he rose from death, having beaten Satan and crushing the power of hell and the grave. He now allows those who would trust and believe in him to beat Satan and death and the foolishness of the world system that we live in. Jesus gives those who believe the power to be free from sin and the wages of it. Saying that, most christians fall way short of the life that God has provided. Most unbelivers look on in amazement and wonder and laugh and ridicule the believer for the weakness they see. Again, Christians are not perfect but a work in progress. I'm not sure what this has to do with amps?

I'm taking away all your posts for spelling his first name wrong .

Also, Tom from Slayer claims to be Catholic. He says it's all an act and started out to turn heads, basically. There are people who actually believe they worship satan. I used to feel sorry for my friends who's parents used to take their albums away. Looking back at the past 15 years, the kids with the ultra conservative Christian parents turned out the worst.

First off my apologies for the typo. I have made the corections, that's what I get for playing at work ... 2nd I couldn't agree with you more. It always seams the ones that you try to protect the most winde up beeing the worst, no balence in their life .... a lot like drug addicts in a sence.

and that sounds believable to you?

Good question. Its unbelievable that God could come to earth as a man and give his life to save all of humanity. To die and come back to life? How can that be? We believe what cannot be proven in a scientific sense such as 1 plus 1 equals 2. Yet the greatest minds of our time could only build an atomic bomb that could have destroyed the entire planet. Jesus when asked what was profound said to love your neighbor as yourself. He said all spiritual teaching/understanding was contained in that statement. If we spent our time and energy doing that simple thing all war would be gone there would be no need even for a traffic light. The laws we make to make us moral and able to live in a sense of peace would be unnecessary. Yeah I believe it and bet my life on it. It is faith that pleases God not proof. Faith is the substance of things unseen yet hoped for. Faith Love Hope Later[/i]

you could also say that faith and gullability are the same thing. in fact, the only reason they aren't considered the same thing is a bunch of religious people say they aren't.
all it is is a word. the meaning is still the same. if i said i believed in aliens with all my heart, you'd prolly laugh at me. now, if i said i had ultimate "faith" that aliens exist...would you believe me?

No I would not. But the proof is in the pudding. Last fall I had a stroke which left some bad vessels way deep in my brain where they could not be touched. After the first cathscan I was real upset and thought my useful life was over as I knew it. I had the elders at church pray for me the day before my second test and they said in the name of Jesus the blood vessels were healed and there would be no sign of a problem. Next day I got the follow up MRI with enhancement. Results no problems back to work as if nothing had ever happened. No aliens in that one. I think its hard to understand unless you have experienced it for yourself. When I became a christian I didn't believe it and thought that maybe budda and Jesus were the same guy in a different time or something like that. But when I came face to face with Jesus there was no doubt, That was in 1973 and I know he is real. Still have faith but also have lots of tangible proof over the years.

Excellent words, Bill--but I am afraid you are talking to the wall, and jokesters...

These kids believe in this--it the IN thing today....
