Good Lord, finally a band that's not out of the 80's :lol:

I guess I'd say Thrice, or Circa Survive - more or less anything Anthony Green has ever been a part of.

Circle Takes The Square is runner-up.

I don't have a favorite. I like something for a while then I tire of it. I usually come back to it if I ain't not nothing new, and then it goes back into the boring pile with the rest.
 
shai hulud for what they did for the music today and the fact that their music is stellar too. so many bands that led to other great bands get kind of outdated
 
I've been thinking for several days about this but can't bring it down to 1 band so here's my top 5 of BANDS in no particular order:

- Led Zeppelin, no explanation required I guess
- Tragically Hip, I love their dual guitar rhythm stuff and love the lyrics, one of the few bands where I actually read the lyrics
- Gov't Mule, their sound, vibe, groove and the fact that Haynes proves overweighted guys can be guitar heroes too :lol:
- Pearl Jam, still THE grunge band for me
- Cream, the real power trio, not a guitarist with a band like Hendrix + Experience

Honorouble mentions for: Toto, Pink Floyd
 
megadeth

with maiden, testament, and GNR all tied for a close second
