Yup...my friend doesn't "preach" to me...I'm glad he's found something that gives him strength to battle his cancer, I'll leave it at that. ;)

Hey, you're the guy from Harmony Central that couldn't realize he was getting owned 10/10 by drealyc.

This thread has turned far too irrational for me to even start up. Rational thought > Christianity

actually, I'm a friend of Chris's ....we get into philosophical scuffles and then 'agree to disagree' on things we can't find common ground.....

if Christianity had anything to do with someone winning some kinda 'better man' debate on the web than I guess I can see how it would be confusing for a guy like you (unbeliever that is...) to see beyond simple posturing and ad hominem attacks. True Christianity is a simple matter of God's revelation and your response to it. It has absolutely nothing to do with debating philosophy on the web. You have obviously rejected this revelation and I respect that.

It was in reference to his comment about rational thought. I do not care what the topic is, if you want to speak of rational thought then you need to show some in the posts you make. Nothing he has posted has been anything of the sort in this thread.

I respect and appreciate those that post on all sides of this topic. There are a lot of good points. And if that comment had been made from any of those I would not feel compelled to comment back.

I realize he is young as some posted. But I know a lot of kids that are his age and younger that do show rational thought and respect towards others. And not all of them believe in God, but they do understand what rational thought really is.

You're quite right, though, Mitch. Anyways, it's not worth discussing much of any of this. I can sit here and point out things that make zero sense, and people can argue things that I can't refute because it's their faith.

And yeah, I wouldn't mind stabbing the few that ride the christian high horse. There's been quite a few posts in here that have that "I'llJamMyFuckingReligionDownYourThroatNoMatterW hat" type of deal in 'em, whether it's that obvious or not.
