You guys have first shot...Voodoo amps 4x12 with v30's for sale

That's right, I am selling my Voodoo amps cab with v30's. The speakers are well broken and sound awsome! I am not typically a v30 fan, but in this cab, they sound AWSOME!!! It is a straight.

I got this cab from Pete Laramee a while ago and it has been my go to cab for just about every amp I have used since (the only amp I didn't like through it was my SLO for some reason :confused: )

The cab is wired 8 ohms mono. I am willing to ship, but it is gonna be kinda expensive. Before packing materials the cab weighs a bit over 85 pounds.

It is in great shape with no noticeable wear or dings. I will go over it again when I get a few minutes, but there is nothing there I can remember. I have never gigged with it and I know it was in awsome shape when I got it from Pete.

These are $1099 new plus shipping from Trace (and worth every penney IMHO!)

I am thinking $725 plus shipping...does that sound fair?

I accept check, money order or paypal plus 3% to cover their fees.

Not interested in any trades. Local pickup is welcome and encouraged if you can get to the Pittsburgh area!

For those that are curious, I am on an MC90, EV kick right now (just bought 2 old Mesa 2x12 vert cabs) and something has to go. I do not need 4 cabs...


EDIT: I WAS JUST MOVING MY CABS AROUND AND FOUND A COUPLE VERY SMALL INTENTATIONS AND ONE TEAR IN THE TOLEX ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CAB (AS YOU ARE FACING IT)...THE TEAR IS ABOUT HALF THE SIZE OF A DIME.

DUE TO THIS, I AM LOWERING MY ASKING PRICE TO $625 PLUS SHIPPING. TO MAKE THINGS EASIER, SHIPPING WILL BE $65 IN THE EASTERN US, $85 IN THE WESTERN US.
 
I will say that this cab is the thickest sounding cab I've ever played. Especially since I replaced the 75s with V30s. The only reason I don't buy it back is because I've become a big fan of front loaded cabs.

In addition I want to mention this cab has never been packed or shipped. I drove to Ithaca to pick it up at the VA shop and a few months later I drove to Tony's to trade it for a VHT cab. So it's never been thrown around by UPS, FedEx, etc (so far).

I bought Pete's Voodoo 2 x 12 and LOVE it.

If I wasn't going out of the country for a pretty long period of time, I would JUMP all over this one.

Steve has toyed with the idea of selling your old cab a few times. If he ever is serious I will let you know. Well thats if I don't end up picking it up myself :D

I thought my asking price was good ( I always try to give good prices to forumites), but now I am questioning it.

I am not sure the going price to be honest. I would be interested but I would have to sell something first :(

That's just the thing..... there is not really anything to go by. This is the only 4x12 I have seen on the used market.

It is as good or better than any high end cab you can think of.
 
I think I remember seeing a store with one that had greenbacks for $600.

I would love to have your cab if I had the cash.
