I am not going to go into details or point fingers because I don't want this thread to turn into yet another flame thread, however, enough is enough. EVERYONE needs to back off of the flame war or people are going to get banned.

Rig-Talk is very loosely moderated, and we want to keep it like that, unfortunately this will not be possible if this trend continues. Small flame wars are bound to break out on occasion, but when threats of interfering with another man's livelihood (job) begin, it's been taken too far.
Everybody wants to be a tough guy online, but people, think before you post and ESPECIALLY before you act.

Consider the fact that messing with a man's livelihood could provoke something far worse to occur in retaliation. I hope there's nobody here that thinks the Internet is worth that.

I have moved the two threads to the admin area. Please do not start another. Let's move on...

I have to - my son just turned two.

Todays kids need their parents at least until they're 25. That'd be 23 year to go - and I'd be 67 then ("hey, that granny is my dad" - LOL :D

Exactly. I admit I get involved with some of the flames but lately its worn thin and getting way out of hand. Thats why I stayed out this last one and plan to continue to. However it was hard as it seemed some falsehoods were being spread about people that I knew to be good peeps. Lets all just get back to talking gear and other nonesense. :D

Classic, Olaf :thumbsup: My wife and I waited to have kids pretty late too, I'm 42 and have a pair of girls aged 5 1/2 & 2 1/2...they are currently fighting over the 50's Roy Rogers cowboy mini guitar :thumbsup:

Kids rule, but I was too busy being a kid to have them any sooner.

Just when people mess with my family I get out of whack--well, I get out of whack sometimes anyway, but messing with my family pushes me over the edge. Its an Italian thing I suppose. And by the way. I would NEVER EVER mess with someones livelyhood however the scare tactics. When you are pissed you say things you dont mean, but you know that.

True story, let GOD be my witness--About 8 years ago--someone from the original HC hypertext forum--emailed MY EMPLOYER about my interent use from work and use of government assets. (I worked for the government) No shit, no lie, I was suspended, no pay for 2 weeks. Put on probation--That is a true story...

I am ready to relax, behave, and go with the flow.
